Our Story:
In 2016 Pam brought home an Amazon Alexa and plopped it on the kitchen table. "What can we do with this?" she asked her computer programmer partner, Chip. And that started it all. As Pam continued to use Alexa only for grocery lists and timers, Chip figured out how to make her say what he wanted her to say! Then his podcaster friends wondered if they could have their podcasts play on Alexa under their own brand like a mini-website. And yes they can, and now do. Then, watching the explosion of smart speakers, he realized his favorite bloggers might get eclipsed by the audio format. So he devised a solution. Using the RSS feed, he programmed a way for Alexa to read a blog post. Now, the bloggers can have their posts on Google Home as well as on Alexa. And ALL their posts are available, not just the latest ones. Thinking that many bloggers could benefit by being available on the new platform, he started Create My Voice with his partner, Pam.
